Cimla “Three Peaks”

Length: 10 milesGrade: Moderate
Weather: Clear, dry, chilly

Moderate 10 mile circular walk, wryly called the Cimla “Three Peaks Challenge,” because of the incorporated ascents of Foel Fynyddau, Myndd Pen-rhys and Cefn Morfydd—although in fact it circulates the latter peak.

Incorporates open countryside, moorland and woodland, with the potential of rewarding views to Swansea Bay, Mumbles,  Drumau mountain, Neath Valley and Corn Du and Pen-y-Fan in the far distance. It also passes by the house wherein Richard Burton was born, as well as the nearby Pontrhydyfen Viaduct.
